Midland's Makers Winter Market Dec 12th, 1-5pm

Hello! After a long break due to the pandemic we are BACK and excited to put on a new event for you inside a gorgeous building in the city centre.


This time we will be making use of a building on Rutland Street in Leicester, a central location just 8 minutes away from the train station. The building is bigger than any we've used before and will allow for 18 makers and an illustrators print stall. We will have a DJ for the beginning of the day and then have music from three local artists, which will sound beautiful in the building we are in.


We will have food running all day provided by wonderful Gray's Kitchen, along with coffees and mulled wine.


We will be collecting for Zinthiya Trust who work to provide support and advice for anyone suffering from poverty or abuse. We ask that instead of an entry fee, we would like you bring a donation for their food bank. They particularly need any long life food such as tins or long life milk and rice. Entry is completely free, we'll have a box to donate food at your discretion on the day but would very much appreciate the kindness in this community event.


We are building this event as a not for profit, community event in the hope to spread some love this Christmas! We'd love it if you could share the event with your friends when it is launched at the end of the month.


Stall Holder information


Stall sizes are as follows,

Full table, 160 x 80cm. To provide your own table.

Half sized table 80cm x 80cm - to be shared with either a friend or we can organise fellow maker who is seeking the same.

We may be able to lend tables at an extra cost but this is to be confirmed.


This is not a craft fair, we're looking for modern clothing stalls, homeware illustrators, jewellery and more, by creators from or currently residing in the Midlands.


We will also be running a stall where anyone further afield or unavailable on the date can send in or drop off art prints prior to the event and we can showcase and sell them on your behalf. Please see the application form for more details.


Unfortunately as all stall fees go into promoting the event, we will not be able to refund any applications once they have been accepted.

We will email back all successful applicants, there are limited spaces and we do endeavour to provide a mix of makers so please don't be disappointed if you don't hear back about this event. If applications are plentiful we may add another date onto the event for the Sunday at an alternate venue.
