As a hub for makers in the UK, we have compiled real user data from independent shop owners to find out who is currently accepting traders and how they prefer you to apply. We've even gone as far as asking some amazing shops to set up application forms to make it easier than ever for indie makers to get stocked. The UK lost 37 shops a day in 2024 and so we need more than ever to support independent.

Remember Parcelhero's famous report '2030: The Death of the High Street'? It predicted that 100,000 high street stores would shut between 2016 and 2030. The report had such an impact when it was released that it was even discussed in parliament. Anyway, they just released an updated version to mark ten years since its release called '2030: The High Street Fights Back? Adapting to a New Retail Age' The new study looks at whether predictions are on track and unfortunately it's not looking good. An estimated 122,682 shops have closed down since it's publication in 2016. Not everything they predicted has come true however, one type of retailer has actually flourished, the bookshops are having a renaissance. View the full report here.
