As part of our next event at Melton Mowbray we’re hosting space for you to get creative with four different workshops.
TRASH TO ART
WORKSHOP
In this hands-on workshop with Cuttle, everyday waste becomes original artwork.
You’ll be guided through the Trash to Art process from start to finish: using collected materials like cardboard, plastic, fabric scraps and bottle caps, you’ll build your own small sculptural or mixed-media piece to take home.
No art experience needed. The session is open-ended, so everyone creates something different. It works well for families, children and adults can work side by side at their own pace.
By the end, you’ll leave with a finished piece made entirely from materials that would otherwise have been thrown away.

SGRAFFITO TILE WORKSHOP
In this 1-hour hands-on workshop you will experience the ancient art of sgraffito and carve your own designs on soft clay tiles which have been pre-prepared with a layer of colour. This is a highly absorbing activity, which will awaken your creativity. Beginner and child-friendly (over 11s) accompanied by adults

GET CREATIVE + ADD YOUR FACE TO THE WALL!
Daze Made will be hosting a space where you can add a face to the BLOB MURAL!
People from all ages and walks of life are encouraged to get creative and add to the mural by filling the blobs with a face or character of your choosing.
