Midlands Makers Market X Leicester Food Festival

We’re thrilled to introduce to you the Leicester Food Festival, bringing together local food, retail, music and entertainment this August 8th + 9th on Abbey Park, Leicester.

A creative collaboration between About Leicester, Leicester City Council and Midlands Makers. Forecasting 15,000 – 20,000 visitors per day across a 2 day August weekend it will be the largest annual festival in Leicester. We will be curating the Modern Midlands Makers Market within the Leicester Food Festival site including a gazebo of approx 80 different traders.

Targeting all ages with couples, friends and families making it a rounded festival for all. Ticket pricing for the festival will include complimentary entry to the famous Billy Bates Fun Fair which will be adjoined for the weekend attracting a large crowd who will be walking past our Midlands Makers tent.

4. At last years introductory Food Festival event 68% of traders we surveyed made at least 3 x their stall fee back.

Please note the event will run Saturday + Sunday 8th and 9th August. , you will need to be available for both days including setting up on Saturday Morning and packing down Sunday post festival. This year, we'll be making most of the Saturday, opening longer at 11am - 7pm and on Sunday the day will be shorter 11-5.30. The Sunday will also see cheaper entrance tickets, drawing in a bigger crowd on the day. 

There will be a carpark available on site for an addition fee, or free street parking 10 minute walk from festival.
