Leicester Food Festival X Midlands Makers Market

Get ready for an exciting opportunity that celebrates creativity, modern makers and community spirit. We’re thrilled to introduce to you the Leicester Food Festival, bringing together local food, retail, music and entertainment this August 10th + 11th on Abbey Park, Leicester.

A dynamic collaboration between About Leicester, Leicester City Council and Midlands Makers. Forecasting 15,000 – 20,000 visitors per day across a 2 day August weekend, it will be the largest annual festival in Leicester. We will be curating the Modern Makers Market within the Food Festival site including a marquee filled with 70 indie traders.


The festival is aimed at all ages for couples, friends and families making it a rounded festival for all. Ticket pricing for entering the festival will include complimentary entry to the famous Billy Bates Fun Fair which will be adjoined for the weekend.

Please note the event will run Saturday + Sunday 10th + 11th August, you will need to be available for setting up on Friday 9th August. Security will man the festival overnight to ensure the safety of your belongings.
